How does our approach and guidance relate to society, and how do youth organisations, schools and professionals look back on our collaboration? I enjoy keeping this conversation going. I am passionate about sharing my perspective on personal leadership, both today and in the future.

Young Colfield develops young talent and connects them with organisations. Suzanne and Casper from Young Colfield asked me what it takes to build future-ready leadership. A subject I enjoy discussing.

In this interview, we discuss the importance of knowing yourself: understanding both your strengths and your limits. We talk about the desire to move beyond compartmentalised services in society and the consequences of a healthcare system focused on treatment. Perspectives on leadership, advice for young talent and how young people can stand out.

Why starting early matters.

"About three and a half years ago, I sat opposite a 60-year-old man who realised, through his assessment results, that he had spent years doing something he wasn't suited to. He should have followed a very different path, but no longer had the energy to change it. He decided to stop working altogether. That experience stayed with me: people need to discover who they are and what drives them much earlier."

Together with Inge Adams, a coach and cross-school training specialist at SaKS, I discuss the importance of knowing what suits you from an early age.

We discuss the combination of conscious talents and subconscious motivations, and what this programme offers parents.
